Summary:

This report provides supplementary information on Bangladesh’s third and fourth periodic reports on the implementation of the CRC. It covers general measures of implementation, definition of the child, general principles, civil rights and freedoms, family environment and alternative care, basic health and welfare, education, leisure and cultural activities, and special protection measures. The report includes a chapter on what the government can realistically do to improve the lives of children in Bangladesh.
