'A Promise for the Future' - An International Conference on Children's Rights
Children in Crossfire is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a 2-day International Conference on Children’s Rights and has announced His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet, as the keynote speaker for the event.
There will be a dynamic range of speakers alongside His Holiness including Jane Olson of Human Rights Watch, veteran journalist Fergal Keane and Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dermot Ahern. The conference is made up of a variety of workshops that will explore a range of issues relating to Children’s Rights from a local and global perspective.
