Organisation aims and activities: Taiwan Fund for Children and Families is the largest child and family welfare organisation in Taiwan. It is one of the
founding members of ChildFund Alliance. TFCF focuses its efforts on sponsorship programmes, child protection, foster care, early intervention, child day care provider training, and institutional placements.

Taiwan Fund for Children and Families aims at promoting the welfare of children, youth, the handicapped and families. Their activities include: 1. Domestic needy children, youth sponsorship through 23 Branch Offices. 2. Foreign needy children youth sponsorship programme in co-operation with International Network of ChildFund International 3. School drop-out program entrusted by governments. 4. Foster care programme entrusted by governments. 5. Setting up centres for children/youth with special needs, juvenile delinquents and so on. 6 Setting up placement centres/shelters for abused children and raising public awareness about child protection.
