Organisation aims and activities: Initially CREDA aimed at abolition of worst
forms of child labour through education and
social mobilization. Later, children drawn from
all types of work were considered as working
children and targeted for their empowerment
through education, social mobilisation and
community participation. Empowerment of
rural women is also given priority.
