The NGO Group for the Convention on the Rights of the Child currently has 84 members, including international and national NGOs and child rights coalitions. Together our members join forces to become a stronger voice for child rights in the UN human rights system.
Why join the NGO Group?
If you become a member of the NGO Group, your organisation can:
- Become part of our working groups on different thematic issues (violence against children, sexual exploitation, Human Rights Council, indigenous children, children without parental care, UN complaints mechanism, juvenile justice, child labour, education and national coalitions)
- Contribute to the global discussion of child rights with a stronger voice and greater credibility thanks to partnership with the Secretariat and other member organisations
- Benefit from the Secretariat’s expertise in child rights and the CRC
- Receive information on events, activities and materials on child rights at the national and international levels
For more information, please see the information leaflet.
How to become a member?
Membership is open to any NGO or coalition/alliance of NGOs which is directly concerned with the application of the CRC. The NGO Group especially encourages the application for membership from child- and youth-led organisations. Please send the completed application to the NGO Group Secretariat at:
